We travel to the best outer reefs and our staff will ensure that we show you all the fun stuff at a level you feel comfortable with. Our SCUBAPRO dive gear is state-of-the–art, plus, where we dive, there are no crowds. Flexible diving options mean you can dive with or without a guide in truly spectacular settings.
Night Diving
Night dives are our speciality at just $65 per dive. This is one of the best ways to see some of the reefs more exclusive creatures that only come out to play in the dark of night. Many of our moorings are perfect for night and early morning dives with large coral bommies close to the reefs edge these provide an excellent environment for finding sleeping turtles, parrot fish hiding in their sleep bubbles, octopus, squid, shrimp and all sorts of pelagic fish coming in close to the reef to feed on small fish and plankton. Sit back with your torch in hand and watch the night show unfold. Absolutely thrilling and a must do!
For those who want to try diving for the first time, there is no better place than the Great Barrier Reef. Introductory diving gives you a unique perspective on the underwater world. It’s an absolute “must do” and our highly skilled Instructors will have you playing with the fish in no time. It’s safe, fun, and a great way to get “up close and personal” with our resident marine life without having to complete a dive course.
Courses on Coral Sea Dreaming
Become a better diver and complete a certification whilst onbaord? As a PADI Retail & Resort Member we offer Advanced, Specialty and Referred Open Water Courses to help build confidence and expand your scuba skills. The Advanced Course is our most popular and perfect to complete over two days. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. Specialities to choose from include; AWARE – coral reef conservation, AWARE – fish identification, boat diver, digital underwater photographer, drift diver, multilevel diver, night diver, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater naturalist and more. It’s great value at the cost of your accommodation, a four dive package and night dive doing the advanced course is just $100 more! (This is $345 plus the standard trip cost depending on your choice of accommodation. For Referred Open Water Course we just require your training records (theory and pool dives signed off) with two weeks notice prior to travel. ROW course costs $280.

Enjoy all the snorkelling you want without a rigid schedule. On Coral Sea Dreaming we want you to take your time so that you can immerse yourself in this vast wonderland. For your comfort, we anchor in well protected lagoons where shallow reef flats and coral gardens are just meters from the boat.
